Landing Dock Location & Waterfront Access
The Roosevelt Island ferry landing is located on the East Promenade on the east channel of the East River, directly facing Long Island City, Queens.
The dock is accessible via paved ramps connecting to the East Promenade and is located approximately a 5-minute walk east from the Tramway and subway station.

Astoria Route Stops & Travel Times
Roosevelt Island is an intermediate stop on the NYC Ferry Astoria Route, which runs between East 90th Street in Manhattan and Wall Street / Pier 11 in Lower Manhattan.
Ferries depart every 30 to 45 minutes from early morning through late evening.

Ticket Pricing, App Purchase & Bicycle Rules
NYC Ferry operates independently of the MTA subway/bus system. MTA MetroCards and OMNY cards are NOT accepted. Tickets must be purchased through the NYC Ferry mobile app or at the physical dockside vending kiosk.
Bicycles are permitted on all vessels for a $0.00 surcharge (standard ticket required).
